Endocrine Program Breakfast Seminar and Networking Event

Smithers Viscient is hosting a free half-day Endocrine Disruptor Screening Program (EDSP) seminar in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina on August 12th 2009.

The Endocrine Program Breakfast Seminar and Networking Event will present educational overviews of ecotoxicology and in vitro and in vivo toxicology testing requirements for the EDSP, and will allow an open forum discussion and opportunity for attendees to network with future task force members. Scientists specializing in each field of testing will discuss their experience with Tier 1 screening assays, presenting proficiency data where applicable. Additionally, presenters will give comprehensive explanations of the prescribed endpoints for each assay. During the panel discussion, speakers will address specific questions about requirements for particular substances.
